Even more special? This session marked their one-year anniversary—at the very same location where they celebrated their wedding just a year ago. Returning to Wychmere to document this next chapter in their love story felt incredibly full circle. We even captured a few sweet portraits in front of the venue, where they once said “I do,” now celebrating the beautiful journey into parenthood.
Mama-to-be absolutely radiated in her lace gown, glowing with joy as she cradled her bump and soaked in the salty air. We began in the dunes, where the grasses framed her beautifully and the light wrapped around her in the dreamiest way. As the sun began to set, we made our way to the shoreline for barefoot moments in the waves—capturing love, laughter, and a whole lot of excitement for what’s to come.
Her partner joined for part of the session, adding even more warmth and connection. There’s nothing quite like photographing that quiet anticipation and shared joy between expecting parents. These portraits feel intimate and timeless, a true celebration of this incredible chapter in their lives.
We ended the evening on the boardwalk in a soft pink gown—a sweet nod to the baby girl they’re expecting. The pastel sky and coastal colors made the perfect backdrop for this joyful reveal.
